I can never tell if I'm just making things uglier in Photoshop. What do you think?

My hand hurts today from tracing fame after frame of animation students slamming their heads against the light-tables. My final project for the second year in animation is almost finished.

I did this late today while on a break from all the boring frame tracing. Its a cleaned version of my storyboard for the last Character animation assignment. I liked the rough and wanted to do a mini comic of a character waiting for something.
